The colour-blind friendly, time-uniform geologic time scale. The geologic time scale represents deep time based on events that have occurred throughout the Earth’s history, spanning approximately 4.54 ± 0.05 Billion years. It organises time chronologically by observing fundamental changes in stratigraphy that correspond to major geological or paleontological events.
The Scientific colour map ‘batlow‘ is used to represent individual time periods to all readers.
